Joyce’s Creek … on the cusp of winter

Late winter … clear skies and brilliant sunshine is ushering in winter in central Victoria.

The lack of precipitation is a worry but I’m enjoying the conditions at present, even the chilly mornings.

Cairn Curran at Joyce’ Creek is a nice place to visit at present … the sudden arrival of a Great Egret was a bonus on top of the other birds pictured below.
