There will be a nice array of red robins in the local bush over coming months.
While enjoying both Red-capped and Scarlet Robins in the Mia Mia last Sunday afternoon I spotted my first Flame Robins of the autumn. A party of about a dozen individuals were moving north along Mia Mia Track in a loose flock – a couple of adult males accompanied by females and immature birds. Look out for this beautiful migratory robin over the winter months.
