Possum magic

I don’t do much night photography but it’s always fun. Last night, a brief visit to Rotunda Park produced a suite of opportunities to observe and photograph some of the resident Brush-tailed Possums.

The abundance of ‘brushies’, along with Ring-tailed Possums, Sugar Gliders and rabbits is a good reason for the Barking Owls to stay around over the summer.

  1. Amazing animal shots. I’m afraid the opossums in our neck of the woods are so photogenic – and you usually find them rooting through the trash.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. Little cuties… We have possums that visit our yard on a regular basis and we feed them. We recently heard some Great Horned Owls doing their mating calls and I’m hoping they won’t find the possums and skunks, especially when the babies are born in the spring.. Thanks for sharing 😊🙋🐦
