Mirror lake

A beautiful evening at Cairn Curran … not a breath of wind and a chance to admire the reflections of all things in the mirror lake.

The Black-fronted Dotterels, a family of three I suspect, provided a lovely highlight.

  1. Love the reflections but photo no 2 is superb…at first glance it looks Luke each bird is standing on the head of the other! 😦

  2. *like not Luke (thanks autocorrect!

  3. all lovely

  4. Such delightful little birds! And these photographs are superb!
I see them every now and then at Lake Neangar, in Eaglehawk. They skip along the edges of the lake, unwilling to pause long enough for me to take even blurry photos.
