Swallow portraits

These Welcome Swallows – a mixture of juveniles and sub-adults, were spotted fence-sitting along Mia Mia Road last evening.

I couldn’t resist stopping to capture them in the golden hour.

  1. These little fellows are lovely But under my carport…Fulltime job between them and the buewrens!!

  2. Dozens of them circling over the Loddon bridge at dusk recently, and two days ago an equal number in mixed flock with fairy martins down by the Strangways bus stop, seemed to be hawking over fields and resting on road.
