I was returning to our house after a meeting with one of the fairly curious Red-capped Robins that reside on the lower slopes of our place at Strangways when a sound from a nearby tree caught my attention.
I was delighted to see this sizeable Koala starting to ascend the Grey Box. We hear them from time to time, but rarely lay eyes on them never with camera in hand, so this was a real treat. This beautiful animal seemed very nonchalant about my presence and after a bit of quizzical attention, seemed to doze off without going any higher than a couple of meters.
