Finding some specials #1

While birding is almost the complete antithesis to shopping, there is one similarity – from time to time you come across some irresistible specials. When you spot one it makes the whole exercise seem like an absolute bargain.

Wow – what lens woul Geoff be using to get shots like these ???

  4. Hi Jack and Ali – it was the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM. I’ve had this lens for about 7 months now and am starting to come to grips with its potential. It’s a terrific lens when paired with the Canon 7D2.
    Cheers, geoff

Great photograph of the Hylacola Geoff. I really appreciate how enigmatic they are in these parts.
