Admiring young ‘tufties’

The other highlight from my weekend visit to Pound Lane was the bevy of birds in Dean and Caroline’s garden. A family of White-browed Babblers, White-bellied Cuckoo-shrikes (calling) and numerous other species of woodland birds were enjoying the garden. Most numerous and obvious were the Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters – they have obviously enjoyed a productive breeding season.

  1. Saturday certainly was a day for the birds. My records show a minimum of 28 different birds sighted that day. Thanks again for the pics Geoff.
