Making good progress

The nesting Common Bronzewings next door are progressing well.

While only one nestling is visible in the shots below I’m pretty sure there are two chicks.

  1. Geoff, I recall once, via email & pics asking what some juveniles of the species were. They are quite majestic to look at, but that mournful cry 24/7 can be grating, when they are roosting any close to ‘our’ home.
