Birds and insects

The warmer weather has triggered some nice activity in the garden – birds and insects alike.

This Wood White aka Red-spotted Jezebel Delias aganippe was spotted fluttering around a mistletoe in the front yard. This species uses various species of mistletoe as a food plant, along with another local plant, the Cherry Ballart Exocarpus cupressiformis.
