Objects in the mirror …

… are closer than they appear.

Just ask this feisty male Superb Fairy-wren spotted earlier in the week at Picnic Point. As I opened the driver’s side door he flew around to the passenger side and attacked the mirror there, before returning to express further ire towards another illusory competitor!

  1. They must have all gone to a school to learn this. We’ve had a few similar sessions with one at a carpark at the You Yangs.
    Should wonder what they would be like if they were say the size of a magpie!
