Hooded Robin pair

I’ve known this pair of Hooded Robins for a while now – I never tire of observing them.

For me, they are an absolute woodland icon.

Hooded Robins (male at left), Plunkett’s Road Newstead, 26th August 2015.

Female at left.

The male enhanced by lichen and moss covered rock.

A very cooperative pair.

  1. Noticed there was a loss covered rock… Must have been a magpie near by causing the loss?? Did like the photos though cheers Jo

    • Very observant Jo … I must be psychic … anyway its time to move on and focus on the more important things in the natural world and not on frivolous games!

      Cheers, a wounded cat
