Robins at the ‘shine’

The Rise and Shine at Clydesdale is a ‘hotspot’ for Eastern Yellow Robins.

This species favours the shallow drainage lines, where slightly moister and more fertile conditions support a healthy food supply of invertebrates. Where the habitat is suitable, a number of pairs can be found together with adjoining territories.

At least the front one is in focus!

Classic Eastern Yellow Robin pose.

A wonderful blend of yellow and grey.

  1. Another stunning series of photos Geoff. The muted greys in the background of each photo show off the various shades of yellow feathers.

  2. Hi Geoff. Do you sell your images? Thanks, Bonnie Carter
