A genuine stayer

I sometimes wonder if Spreading Wattles Acacia genistifolia get their name from the way their flowering is so spread out over time. At present they have flowers finishing up as well as buds about to open. When I took these photos on Sunday, one had a small solitary insect slowly collecting pollen in the winter cold.
