Plenty of action

After pretty much ignoring some favourite woodland sites over the last part of summer its been good to reacquaint myself with some favourite haunts – the Rise and Shine is always near the top of the list if I have an hour to spare. Yesterday morning it was buzzing with birds – Lots of young Dusky Woodswallows learning from their parents, Brown Treecreepers darting between tree trunks and a juvenile Rufous Whistler, were just some of the highlights.
