Further signs of late breeding activity. This pair of Musk Lorikeets were part of a small flock observed yesterday, feeding on River Red-gum lerp along the Loddon River. They made a number of visits to inspect a lovely hollow in one of the red gums – both disappearing down inside a number of times before flying off to feed. The good rain we’ve had in recent weeks has most likely sparked a little interest, which is great.
