Whiskered Terns #2

A quick follow-up post on the Whiskered Terns from last week.

This shot shows the entire flock, 25 birds in total, heading back across the lake after they’d finished feeding along the Joyce’s Creek arm. This is possibly the largest congregation I’ve seen at Cairn Curran, so worthy of a photograph.
