Youngsters in abundance

As breeding season in the bush draws to a close many of the birds we see at the moment are juveniles, recently fledged from the nest. This young Common Bronzewing is one of two birds fledged from a nest in the front yard. The Brown-headed Honeyeaters, regular visitors to the garden were in a mixed party of adults and juveniles that dropped in for a visit to the bird bath.
