Fly well!

The young Wedge-tailed Eagles I’ve (we’ve) been following over recent months have flown the nest. One of the juveniles was seen in the vicinity of the nest yesterday, perched and flying with reasonable confidence around the breeding territory.

We kept a safe distance, especially when one of the parents appeared overhead to remind us who is the master of this landscape.
