Couldn’t have too much of them Geoff, wonderful to see them nearly ready to take off. We have a nest in a reserve near here but someone shot both birds, we found their remains. Abominable.

No apology required, Geoff. They are a sight to behold, and at such close quarters. Sad to see that some people still see a need to shoot them, all though it is probably gun toting d***heads, rather than farmers of old.
Amazing that the $40k fine for the ‘sport’, isn’t sufficient deterrent.
