  1. A very pie in the sky guess but is it possibly Cortinarius sublargus. I know it is not an Amanita but it could be Agaricus. The swollen stipe makes me think it is Cortinarius.

  2. A bit late but my guess is an Agaricus, gills would be a rusty colour if it was a Cortinarius

    • yes , i concur, though there are some cortinaria that are brownish and the very short stipe is distinctive.
